EEO-1 Data Collection

Eligible employers must submit workforce demographic data via EEOC portal to remain in compliance.

This is a friendly reminder that the EEO-1 Component 1 data collection for 2024 is currently open, and the filing deadline is June 24, 2025. After the Tuesday, June 24, 2025 “Published Due Date” passes, no additional 2024 EEO-1 Component 1 report(s) will be accepted, and eligible employers will be out of compliance with their mandatory 2024 EEO-1 Component 1 filing obligations.

Who Must File
  • Private employers with 100 or more employees, and
  • Federal contractors and first-tier subcontractors with 50 or more employees and are not exempt as provided for by 41 CFR 60-1.5 and a contract of $50,000 or more with the federal government.
What’s Required

Eligible employers must report workforce demographic data, including race, ethnicity, sex, and job category, using data from a workforce snapshot period between October 1 and December 31, 2024.

All reports must be submitted through the EEOC’s online portalhttps://www.eeocdata.org/eeo1
